Should posting on Meta affect reputation? When we launched this community, we did not yet have the ability to set different reputation grants for different categories. Oh, good point -- I should have addressed speed. I'm assuming there's a spectrum where at one end it doesn't matter (too slow to be hurt) and at the other end it also doesn't matter (you're dead either way). Let's try to be careful with negative characterizations. The OP wasn't intentionally misrepresenting things; the OP was (apparently) mistaken. I can't think of a case where it would be appropriate to refer to someone as "stupid", and "nonsense" should not be the first term we reach for when present... (more) |
